Lord Capulet, Father of the Capulet House

Paris: "Younger than she are happy mother made."
Capulet: "And too soon marr'd are those so early made.
But woo her, gentle Paris, get her heart.
My will to her consent is but a part."

Capulet proves himself to be a very sincere, caring man. In the times in which the play took place, women had hardly any rights. Capulet says that Juliet must fall in love, and that he won't force her to marry, exposing his loving character.

Capulet gives his daughter, Juliet, liberty to choose for herself who to love. When Paris constantly asks to marry Juliet, he simply says that he must 'woo' her and have her fall in love.
